Devibe

Devibe is Alexander Michael De Palma. Born January 21 1998 in Ozone Park Queens NYC. Devibe grew up right outside of NYC in the suburbs of Wayne, NJ. His first love was ice hockey when he was 5 years old. At the age of 7 his name was in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. After him and his team won International Silver Sticks in Ontario Canada. High school was the end of Alex’s hockey career but the start of his music career.


The first song Devibe wrote was in a friends garage. After him and his friends were free styling beats on youtube when he was 17 in 2015. During summer of junior year at Wayne Valley high school he continued to write music. Alex then started recording raps in the studio in NYC. You could find him recording anywhere with a microphone. He recorded at friends houses and any studio he could find.


Finally Devibe released his first song on all platforms “What is Love?” in 2019. After writing and recording that song Alex knew he had a gift to make music. He followed “What is Love?” with his debut rap album filled with catchy melodies “DEVIBE” in 2021. Then followed with a pop album in the summer of 2021 “ONLY GOOD VIBES”. It is a 80s funk album with a modern sound.
