Devil Scott was originally born a spotted jackalope and only became a human folk singer at age 12 after his first experience with marijuana.
With a cigarette in each hand, Devil began writing and performing his songs in local pubs and chicken coops throughout North Carolina. Not surprisingly, his debut album, Dishes in the Sink, sold over 35 copies in its first year alone. While critics gave mixed reviews, his mother really liked it.
These days, a front porch couch provides a natural habitat for him to scribble and shout new songs when he isn't yelling them at bar patrons around the southeast. Devil Scott is currently working on his second full-length release, Good For What Ails Ya, expected this fall. In the meantime he's released a handful of GFWAY singles, and two EPs.
