Formed in January of 2016, Devil Theory is a four-piece metal outfit from Oklahoma City featuring current & former members of Zerotheist, Avis Praeda, & The Glasgow Smile. The band’s pummeling auditory attack consists of timeless riffs inspired by heavy metal giants of the past infused with mind-altering stoner and doom sounds. Devil Theory’s range doesn’t stop with the heavy, but expands into modern, progressive stylings as well as softer, soulful pieces that speak to the listener and compel them to sing along. Thought-provoking lyrics melded with earth-quaking bass, massive guitars, and pummeling drums equal a sonic blend that satisfies everyone from the casual fan to die-hard metal heads. Devil Theory released its self-produced debut EP “Descension” on May 29th, 2018.
