Devrim studied various popular styles of guitar at Musicians Institute (G.I.T) in California and earned his degree in Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He since has been working as a live and session musician in Canada, US and Europe. His live and studio credits include Keshia Chante, Karl Wolf, Canadian Idols Kalan Porter and Eva Avila, Jarvis Church (Philosopher Kings), Joydrop, Emma-Lee, Hedona, and NEAVV.
Through his work on NEAVV’s debut “Fall Hard. Get Sad.”, he started to pursue his new creative path as a music producer. Their first co-write “CRZY” won the Pop category in the John Lennon Songwriting competition in 2016.
“Fall Hard. Get Sad” led to a publishing deal with Last Gang Records in October 2018 and landed song placements on television shows “Kim’s Convenience”, “Mean Queen” and “Deputy”.
He released his first solo record “Rebirth” in 2022, a true DIY project in which he played, programmed and recorded all instruments, in addition to mixing and mastering the album.
Devrim currently lives and works in Toronto and continues to write and produce music, including cinematic covers, and collaborates with other artists as producer, guitarist and mix engineer.
