Chris Royle aka Dexta is a London based DJ/Producer who’s been on the D&B circuit since 2010 around the same time as co-founding the independent record label ‘Diffrent Music’ and has been fronting and developing the label ever since.
Dexta has taken the Diffrent Music sound on the road since 2010 and tends to play an unexpected selection of music at every event. Bringing through new and unheard of artists, friends and collaborators and even influential music from outside of the D&B circuit.
Dexta has been a releasing artist since 2013 and since has released and remixed music on such labels as Diffrent Music, Dispatch Recordings, Flexout Audio, Hospital Records, None60, Proximity Recordings & more.
Much like the Diffrent Music label ‘sound’, Dexta has a wide range of musical influences and this shines through when you listen over his output and the Diffrent Music back catalogue, it’s very hard to pin down a specific kind of style, it’s more about exploring and experimenting with new and different areas every time.
