Dexter & The Disciples is the product of two talented musicians and one pandemic. What started out as a side project between Swedish producers Fredrik Landh and Clas Olofsson turned into something more as involuntary isolation struck the entire world during 2020. The sudden change in circumstances provided more time to focus on writing music and Dexter & The Disciples became the perfect antidote to the fears and confusion that prevailed. The duo turned their attention to what makes them feel good and the off-beat electric guitars, four-beat drums and rhythmic emphasis all adds up to that quintessential reggae groove that sends your entire nervous system into instant relaxation. With tracks named after some of the greatest surf spots in the world, their latest EP Puerto Escondido from 2020 is an homage to travelling and adventure, and with its mesmerizing charm Dexter & The Disciples lets you forget about your worries even for just a minute or two.
