Filipino rapper-songwriter DGrimm became interested in composing songs at the age of fourteen during the third year of his high school era (2011). Due to poverty and lack of equipment, it took several years before he experienced recording his own written songs.
DGrimm is a fond of dark and underground rap music, the genre that awakened his writing skills, but he never stopped exploring different styles in rap. He became flexible and was able to adjust to the evolution of rap and learned to keep up to the changes brought by time.
During his long journey in rap, his career progressed well and met a lot of artist in the Philippines. Unexpectedly, in the year 2021 he joined the collaboration of rappers and Rnb artists he only met on the internet, they formed the group and called it UNXPCTD Music. One of their songs became popular in 2021-2022 titled "Hindi Hiniling Pero Dumating" where DGrimm himself sang the chorus and the fifth verse. Under the production of Ednil Beats, they have produced a lot of great music including "Singkit", "Ikaw Ang Paborito", and many others.
DGrimm has also written solo tracks, it is "Lose Streak" and "Pambhira Ka" where it describes the real feelings and suffering he experienced due to relationship failure.
