Dhanusha Samanmalee, a Sri Lankan vocalist now based in the UK, brings forth a musical heritage cultivated from her upbringing immersed in the arts. Her journey began in her school days, laying the foundation for a career marked by passion and dedication. Under the tutelage of esteemed musician Sangeeth Nipun P. V. Nandasiri, she delved into Indian classical music, mastering vocals and the sitar, earning her Sangeeth Visharadh qualification in 2010 mentored by Sangeeth Nipun P. V. Mano Manjarie.

Transitioning to teaching, Dhanusha shared her knowledge, releasing her debut single "Pawan Podak" in January 2017, showcasing her talent nurtured under Aruna Gunawardene's melodies and Isuru Samarasinghe's lyrics. Her career flourished with twelve original compositions, each a testament to her artistry.

In heartfelt tribute, Dhanusha embarked on her first solo concert in Sri Lanka in July 2023 honoring her parents and heritage followed by a second performance in the UK in October of the same year.
