Diabology is a thrash/death metal band from Los Angeles, CA. Beginning as a thrash band, the group have relentlessly combined and crossed styles, incorporating elements of death metal, groove metal, black metal, doom metal, and more to create a sound entirely their own. Members Jesse Bergen (guitar and vocals), Bradley Irving (guitar), Vikram Sinha (bass), and Matthew Morales (drums), met up through LA's tight-knit metal scene. They were united by their love of metal and the desire to combine the energy and catchiness of 80s thrash with the brutality of modern metal.
The band began playing many gigs around their hometown of Los Angeles, but things really took a turn when they released their debut LP, ‘Nobody Believes Me’. Taking the underground metal world by storm, the album was featured in dozens of metal publications and even received significant radio play. But the icing on the cake was when their song ‘Defiling Innocents’ made it to the top of Kerrang’s American Excess Spotify playlist.
In late 2022, Diabology released their sophomore LP, “Father of Serpents” on Dissonant Hymns Records. Produced by Dave Kaminsky (<a href="spotify:artist:49tTRtQKlyAvwisPyQWb5q" data-name="Stone Healer">Stone Healer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:18uSn0X1chr8YsK4N09OQw" data-name="Fires in the Distance">Fires in the Distance</a>) and mastered by Ryan Williams (<a href="spotify:artist:4xTDPgk4jHCF0qui3dH6BS" data-name="The Black Dahlia Murder">The Black Dahlia Murder</a>, Metal Blade Records), the album earned the band features in Metal Injection, No Clean Singing, and Knotfest. With several tours now under their belt, these young thrashers are showing no signs of slowing down. Look out for this group of up-and-comers in your town!
