A classically trained pianist, Diarmuid released his debut single in January 2019 The Velvet Strand. Diarmuid performed a showcase gig on January 23rd 2020 to a full house in Arthurs Jazz and Blues Club in Dublin. In 2021, Diarmuid’s The Eternal Memory was selected for Kerry International Film Festival, Cannes Short Film Festival and Montreal International Film Festival. Diarmuid's latest release for 2025 is a piano nocturne entitled "In the field".
