Dick Lundberg is a Swedish singer-songwriter that started in the early 90's, released a bunch of home recorded albums, were signed by Birdnest Records in the year 2000 and created his own label Dikotomi Produktion in 2010. Influences is similar artists like Ulf Lundell and Stefan Sundström as well as country singers as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Lundberg has always been driven by story-telling, a voice telling you his point of view, more ballads than upbeat songs. Some of the songs are political, others is stories from his personal life. Lundberg says: "I want to feel the words while singing them, they must hurt just a little bit or I'll rewrite them." In the studio he is often handeling all instruments himself, but now and then have friends as guests. He is also a part of the band Dick Lundberg & Misstro with multi instrumentalist Tomas Nilsson as the head producer. Live you can see Lundberg solo, with Misstro or with the band Solidariteten.
