Dickie Wonder, born Richard L. Jackson on January 30, 1944, in Richmond, Virginia, embarked on his musical journey early in life. By the age of 21, he was recording with Mr. Wiggles, showcasing his exceptional talent and deep passion for music.

In late 1966 or early 1967, his second single on Sound of Soul, Nobody Knows, was released. Though it achieved modest success at the time, the track later gained recognition as a beloved classic in the Northern Soul scene. During the 1970s, he released All My Friends Call Me a Fool, while another track, Put It in the Groove, remained unreleased until the early 2000s, further cementing his posthumous legacy.

Richard passed away on February 3, 2010, at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife, Saundra Jackson, three sons, three daughters, and an extended family who lovingly preserve his legacy and contributions to music.
