Born in 1983 in Istanbul, Didem Ezgi Kurt started her musical education at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory in tanbur training. First time on stage in 2000, she continued her bachelor at the same university's Composition Department whilst writing her first songs. As an artist who grew up interested in musics of different cultures, she met Flamenco right after her graduation in 2005. Having further broaden her researches on Flamenco going to Sevilla in 2008, the musician practiced "Cante" and "Baile" with various instructors. All the while running her studio and stage works, she participated as a composer and singer of such communities like Shaman Dance Theatre, Flamenco Alaturka Project and Rumeli Band.
In 2021, with the premier of her first single she worked with Doruk Okuyucu on its arrangement, "Benim Bir Kalbim Var’’, the musician finally started to present her songs to the audience she has been composing since many years. After her singles “Çaylak Fırtına", the same year, and "Gel Affet" in 2022, she released "Korkarım", composed and arranged by Gökhan Varol and Mustafa Haybat. Following her single "Yeteri Kadar", which was released in August 2023 and produced by Metehan Köseoğlu, she released her last single, "Sığ Liman", based on traditional Turkish Music tones and forms. In March 2024, he released the song "Çok Öp Beni", a collaboration with Genco Arı. The artist is preparing to meet his audience with his new single "Sevgilim" soon.
