Raphaël Didjaman, Saxophonist Jazz in first and Deejay, everything plated one day to go to Australia. On these original land, he discovered the didgeridoo. Listening to indigenous rites, he felt that this instrument would be at the heart of all the changes would know his life ... it was in 1995.
He spent a year in Australia, the outback, constantly learning, following the advice of renowned players. Then he met in Alice Springs, Andrew LANGFORD, Ash DARGAN, David HUDSON, Mark ATKINS... . Those experiences will be decisive and decide to become professional.
Since then, every year he visits Australia, perfect with ever greater rigor, and collects the precious wood of eucalyptus that will then work in his studio to make genuine didgeridoos.
Respecting each timber, he works so as to accentuate the acoustic characteristics, to make the sound more pure, more toned, smooth and vibrating the material without denaturing it.
With a discography of 14 albums, 3 educational DVDs to learn how to play Didgeridoo (including one in English), and many famous artistic encounters (Symphonic & Philharmonic Orchestras, Actors, Directors, Singers etc.), Raphael has become an experienced player and a craftsman-maker recognized for the happiness of all lovers of didgeridoo.
