Die Fidelen Senioren

The year is 1986 a.C - dark billows of smoke emerge from the sacristy of the Pulheim cathedral chapter. A few seconds later there is a deafening bang. Four daring figures emerge from a glaring flash of light, beige-white, grumpy, having lost their mother tongue. Instrument-like machines hang from their tortured shoulders, their sound combined into a single chord: the birth of the senior rockers Hamster, Pommes, Atze, Rainerlein and Guitarfez was complete. Immediately their pretonal sound and their allegorical nonsense caught on with the village youth, who were marked by close relatives.
This was followed by numerous musical performances at latency festivals, Hanseatic evenings, petrol station and WAldi openings through to Austrian beer synods. During the years of effort to master the instruments, recordings such as “Süße Klänge, Baby”, “Im Vollrausch Ihr Monkeys” and “Strongly hairy and far from home” were created, which not only broke the known genre boundaries through their idiosyncratic creation of aggressive polka and hardcore power rock, but linguistically, too, the retrolabial larynx singing of the singer tore deep furrows in the field of traditional vocal melodies. With the sculptures of the "Blood-coughing Madonna from Ommelstal" and the "Immaculate Remuneration", the seniors also made a name for themselves in the secretion scene.
The story of one of the longest-serving funpunk bands in Germany continues from 1986 to the present day.
