Dieter Jackson

DIETER JACKSON from Northern Germany started out as a Punkrock / Rock'n'Roll four-piece band in 2011 and have since then put out one full-length album („Touché and Go“, 2013) and a split 7“ featuring Glucifer's side-project BLOODLIGHTS fronted by guitar hero Captain Poon (2015). Both records were released on JanML Records/Maja von Lobeck. In their ten years of existence DIETER JACKSON shared the stage with Sonny Vincent, Guitar Wolf, The Royal Cream, P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S., Peter Pan Speedrock, The Generators, Bloodlights and many others, before condensing into a trio.

Right after its tenth anniversary, the band split up due to the mysterious disappearance and tragic passing of bassist Marco Markl. The two remaining band members, Leif & Hannes, decided to finish and record the last songs they were working on before losing their friend. The 7“ single „Silver“ is a tribute to Marco
and contains 3 unreleased tracks.

The song „Alright“ features a guest appearance by Michael „REB“ Rebbig, who's mostly famous for being the lead guitarist of German Punkrock legends THE BATES, but also played bass in THE TOY DOLLS.
