DIEVERSITY was founded in 2010 by Olav Langer and Daniel Heß. Shortly after, Chris Walther, Michael Steger, and drummer Dominik Waldorf completed the lineup. From the start, their sound has stood for modern, melodic, and aggressive metal with socially critical lyrics.
In 2012, the debut album Last Day Tomorrow was released, with the title track reaching number one on the Amazon Metal Charts. The second album, ReAwakening, followed in 2015, featuring the videos for “Stop War Inferno” and “In Your Dreams.” Numerous festival and club shows — including Christmas Bash, Bonebreaker, and Metal Franconia — as well as performances alongside ORDEN OGAN, BLIND GUARDIAN, HÄMATOM, ICED EARTH, and HOLY MOSES solidified the band’s reputation as a powerful live act.
At the end of 2021, DIEVERSITY released their third studio album Age Of Ignorance, accompanied by the singles “End Of The Line,” “The Bitter Taste Of Sin,” and “Clouds Of Misery.” Vocalist Robin Mattner has since become a defining force in the band’s sound, joined by new bassist Max Sommerlad.
DIEVERSITY continue to pursue a modern, powerful sound where electronic elements and orchestral arrangements play an essential role. The blend of heaviness, melody, and atmosphere remains the band’s hallmark. With their upcoming fourth album IV, set for release in early 2026, DIEVERSITY are opening the next chapter of their story.
