From gritty bass to soaring melodies, DiFiNiTiV is a craftsman of a sonic experience that blurs the lines of genre and traditions.
Hailing from the back roads of Ligonier, PA, Devin grew up playing a range of instruments. The earliest of which (violin) started at 3 years old, then piano, drums/percussion, eventually turning to a laptop at 17 to make beats. Eventually moving to bass/house music a few years down the road.
While dance music is at the core of his artistry, DiFiNiTiV also produces and engineers for a variety of artists around Los Angeles. Genres ranging from pop/alternative to hip hop/rap/trap, to dance music.
At the heart of DiFiNiTiV's music is a commitment to humanity; an attempt to contact the inner self and let you know that you aren't alone in the journeys you face. Feeling is ok.
