Born in the Parisian tumult, Dimitri conceives his compositions as an invitation to dream. At the crossroads of indie rock, bedroom pop, soul and jazz, Dimitri explores sounds that are truly his own, breaking down the barriers between genres.

He grew up with an eclectic range of influences - from psych, to rock, to folk. A huge <a href="spotify:artist:22WZ7M8sxp5THdruNY3gXt" data-name="The Doors">The Doors</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5c3GLXai8YOMid29ZEuR9y" data-name="Nick Drake">Nick Drake</a> fan, <a href="spotify:artist:2vgUDffA6t4Y0DYqjls57K" data-name="Dimitri Von Büren">Dimitri Von Büren</a> also grew up alongside classic noughties indie rock, with such iconic acts as <a href="spotify:artist:0epOFNiUfyON9EYx7Tpr6V" data-name="The Strokes">The Strokes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4fSPtBgFPZzygkY6MehwQ7" data-name="The Libertines">The Libertines</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1GLtl8uqKmnyCWxHmw9tL4" data-name="The Kooks">The Kooks</a>. These days, he’s exploring more of his groovy, psychedelic and lo-fi side, with key influences from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:3Sz7ZnJQBIHsXLUSo0OQtM" data-name="Mac DeMarco">Mac DeMarco</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5INjqkS1o8h1imAzPqGZBb" data-name="Tame Impala">Tame Impala</a>, or <a href="spotify:artist:6BkeI9oZkqskZ4XMwy5OFl" data-name="Brad stank">Brad stank</a>.

He released his first single <a href="spotify:album:5NQibJUkhwxZlwUm21Oy1w" data-name="Moonlight Confession">Moonlight Confession</a> in 2018, which was quickly included in the indie-pop selections of many French and Anglo-Saxon webzines. 6 tracks later, Dimitri develops and extends his musical inspiration: the artist&#39;s first album was released in 2021. New tracks &#39;Sunny Days&#39; and &#39;Space Dunk&#39; have been released since then paving the way to a 2nd album. Both tracks are mixed by Sahil Ansari, <a href="spotify:artist:11DpUQDuQFFuGU8VXny3K6" data-name="JW Francis">JW Francis</a>&#39; sound engineer.

In April 2025, the new single &#34;On Track&#34; is released, featuring jazz/funk influences, particularly inspired by Fela Kuti&#39;s Afrobeat.
