Dimitris Desyllas is a hotshot guitarist of the blues/rock, rock, surf & psychedelic rock genre whose sound and feel on music and guitar play, gives you the idea you’re back in 60s , 70s , 80s. Was born & raised in Thessaloniki(SKG) the “bride” of northern Greece.
You can feel the vibes that comes out of his guitar when he plays a solo or when he compines rock/ blues cliches with eastern and more complex scales. His heavy pure rock sound and psychedelic feel will make you travel through his music and compositions.
His influences are guitarists & musicians like Peter Green(Fleetwood Mac), Jimmy Page(Led Zeppelin), Roy Buchanan, Gary Moore, The Ventures, The Shadows, Rory Gallagher, Ennio Moriccone, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix JJ Cale and the list goes on..
From age zero Desyllas was lost in the infinite world of music. He started discovering his talent on instruments firstly on the national Greek instrument bouzouki.
He always loved Greek music and always will, but his passion for electric guitar and the music that sets him free will win. So in his age teenage years, he will exchange bouzouki with electric guitar and then the story begins.
His first single is released with lots of albums and music to come
