Dina El Wedidi is an Egyptian singer, composer and music producer. She was born and raised in Egypt.
Dina started her artistic career by joining “Al Warsha Theater Troupe”. In 2011, she founded her own band and focused on singing and composing music.

In 2012, she represented Egypt in “The Nile Project”, a musical collaboration that includes 14 musicians from several African countries. The project aims to introduce the audience to the cultures of their neighbors with whom they live on the banks of the same river.
As a result of her work with the Nile Project, she participated as a singer and composer in tow albums of the Nile project.

In the same year Dina was selected by Gilberto Gil and the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative as a protégé. This allowed her to receive mentorship from a Brazilian music icon for two years.

In 2014, Dina released her first album, “Tedawar w Tergaa” (means turning back).
In 2018, she released her second album, “Slumber”. A different experience where she relied on the sounds of the train stations as the background for the album.

In 2019, Dina was selected by “Time Magazine” in a list that includes young people from all over the world, a predicted list of the next generation’s leaders. The magazine said about the album “Tedawar w Tergaa” that it is a journey in the history of Egypt. and about Dina that “She is drawing from history to inspire change for the future”.

Recently, Dina released new EP Album called “Five Seasons”.
