Dino Soares is rapidly gaining recognition in the Canadian music scene for his distinct musical style.
At 19 years old, Soares formed the alternative-rock band, EVERLEA with fellow Kingstonians and their LP was signed with Glassnote Records (NYC). The band toured across North America and were winners at both Indie week (Toronto) and M.E.A.N.Y. Fest (NYC).
He then went on to record and play live with bands such as Lowell, Teenage Kicks, Chris Koster, Warmachine and The Slyde to name a few.
In the spring of 2016 Soares was invited by President and Co-Owner of Arts & Crafts, Kieran Roy, to join the labels rising artist Reuben And The Dark and continues to record and perform as the bands drummer.
Rewinding to age 22, Soares broke his leg in a skateboarding accident and was told by doctors not to play drums for nearly a year. With his building creativity and strong musical sense, he began playing a variety of instruments and writing songs. After over a decade of perfecting his songwriting (behind the scenes from his busy drumming career) Soares has now begun to release his own songs under the name Dino Soares.
Recorded at home in Kingston (Alpha Studios), Soares’ solo material is being mixed individually by a variety of fellow Canadian musicians. He continues to collaborate with many on a wide range of projects and styles.
