Dion YJ

Iyobosa Jerry Osadebawmen (Born in September 21st), known professionally as Dion YJ is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, Afro pop star formerly known as <a href="spotify:artist:4QtJXADSLZbz9rWcxoy5hA" data-name="Jeriyobo">Jeriyobo</a>. He is from Edo State, Nigeria, a native of the ancient city of Benin, born and raised in Ekpoma, Edo State.
The change in his artist name resulted from the rebranding process in his sound, melodies and style of music that suit the name Dion which means “child of heaven and earth” (God Son). He has always believed in God and on God for inspiration in his songwriting and craft (there is an heavenly feel in his voice, lyrics and sound).


YJ discovered his love for music at an early age,
He has always enjoy watching other big artists like Travis Scott, <a href="spotify:artist:3tVQdUvClmAT7URs9V3rsp" data-name="Wizkid">Wizkid</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7bXgB6jMjp9ATFy66eO08Z" data-name="Chris Brown">Chris Brown</a>, Tory Lanez, and The Weeknd, these big artists are core influence on his unique sound. In 2020, he officially kicked off his music career, he began experimenting with his sound and craft.

His new song is filled with catchy melodies, joy, emotions and love.
