Dirt From Future is Milan’s explosive new alternative metal force, blending the raw intensity of early 2000s nu-metal and metalcore with fresh alt-rock melodies and cinematic storytelling. Formed in late 2024 by Turkish frontman Atakan Gulsen and guitarist Kenan Korhan Odabas, the band delivers a modern yet nostalgic sound that bridges generations of heavy music fans.
Their debut single, City of Sins (out July 9, 2025), captures a vivid emotional journey through personal and social chaos, inspired by Istanbul’s contrasting nightscape. Featuring distorted guitars, fry screams, and anthemic choruses, the track channels influences from Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold to I Prevail and Spiritbox — but with Dirt From Future’s own unfiltered, high-energy twist.
Already drawing attention in the local scene with their intense live shows and striking orange-and-black aesthetic, Dirt From Future quickly rose in prominence, landing in the Top 5 of the Hard Rock Cafe New Talents Contest with just three originals and minimal promotion. Their debut EP is slated for November 2025, promising to expand the saga of City of Sins with more powerful, genre-blurring tracks.
