Dirty Bodies is a four-piece American indie post-punk band from Portland, Oregon. They have been actively playing live shows since 2022. The band consists of Darrin Wilson on guitar and lead vocals, Judson Goodwin on bass and lead vocals, Ben Schmalz on guitar, keyboard, and vocals, and Eddie Montejo on drums.
Dirty Bodies has drawn comparisons to acts such as Parquet Courts, Pixies, Pavement, Fugazi, Squid, and The Talking Heads. They combine a driving rhythm section with frenetic, dissonant guitar playing and rapid fire vocals to create an energetic, raucous sound.
Dirty Bodies has performed at many venues around the Portland Metro Area, including MiniFest at the Mission Theatre. They also released a single titled No Nothing in May 2023, which is available on all major music streaming services. The band is currently working on a new three song single to be released later in 2024.
