Chirag Parikh (Nimbus DeLoud) & Christopher W. Lee (Astral Omega) were both raised in Philadelphia, PA. Nimbus learned how to play the flute as a child. As he grew up, his flute playing took a back seat to dance. Culturally through the Indian dance style of Bollywood theater and more influentially, through hip-hop dance in high school years. When his passion for all genres and styles of music and dance ran parallel he knew at this point that music would begin to play a large role in his life. Astral Omega has been around music all his life. The first instrument Astral picked up was the violin and piano, learning the basics of music after elementary school. Later during middle school Astral started playing the bass guitar, which lead him to join a band “PREM!ERE” as a Frontman. PREM!ERE started to book event at basement/bar shows. Opening up for bands such as “Hawthorne Heights,” “HRVRD,” and“Madina Lake. However, later on “PREM!ERE” and Astral had a difference in musical philosophy, so they decided to go their separate ways. In the late 2014, Astral and friends started a company called, “Illadef.” Illadef started as a promo company to help build Nimbus with shows & music production, Astral realized that he also missed being on stage. soon enough they teamed up together to create a fierce duo called, “DIRTYBASSCROOKS.”
