Formed in Ferrara, Italy, around 2007/2008, Discordance released the "Unborn Disease" 5-track EP, which is largely influenced by old-school death metal, in 2009.
After some line-up changes, they shifted their sound towards a more modern and personal form of progressive/death metal, in the vein of <a href="spotify:artist:7i82bJxWj1Tggc7pnU1hzt" data-name="Obscura">Obscura</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:69lt02nubfNbPdrvH4tJxx" data-name="Gorod">Gorod</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3Bv5btxNbwbt79fcjw9DAg" data-name="Ulcerate">Ulcerate</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4Mmo0f1kp7dyyH3UbK9vUU" data-name="Origin">Origin</a>, and released their debut album "In the Shadow of Leaves" in 2017.
In november 2021, it's the turn of "Vertex", a concept album about the moral implications of the mathematization of cosmos.
