Disfonía

DISFONÍA is an Alternative Metal band. Their sound is characterized by the multiplicity of styles which converge in their musical pieces, always in the framework of rock, metal and its many variants, from the softest and traditional to the most devastating.

DISFONÍA has 12 years of history, 4 studio albums , 1 Live in Studio DVD and vast experience in various scenarios, highlighting its live performance, high impact, lead by its frontman Keving Leiva, who mixes physical and artistic disciplines like dance, yoga and body expression. The band has presented its show in different contexts, sharing with all kind of rock and pop artists. Its particular performance has allowed to narrow distances between different styles and audiences, always getting transversal acceptance after its shows.

Its latest album THE SOUND OF THE COLLUSION is a candidate for the Best Metal Album Award at the PREMIOS PULSAR 2016, prize that brings together all the musicians of Chile in a single gala. The following year the band is semi finalist in the Hard Rock Cafe VIVA ROCK LATINO 2017 Festival. The album features songs in Spanish as well as in English, which shows the interest in opening borders.

In 2018 the band makes its first international tour to México, touring numerous cities and having a great reception from the audience and media (Radio, TV, Press and Web).

Currently, the band is working on its fifth studio album titled COLONIZATION FAIL, inspired by the Mexican and Latin American reality.
