Rondel Holder, better known by his stage name “DiSi” (Dee-Cee) is a 28 yr old Guyanese artiste with a passion for excellence, positivity and Jesus. He has released three projects to date and has his sights set on creating a sound that is mainstream, unique to Guyanese culture and saturated with positivity.

Born to Dellon Adams and the Late Ronley Holder out of wedlock in August of 1995, DiSi hardly had the guidance of his father.

This resulted in him suffering from severe self-esteem issues which could have led to him taking his own life but music saved him. “I would always listen to music whenever I felt misunderstood. Back in High School I used to get up early in the morning and sing contemporary Christian songs in order to cope” DiSi said.

In 2012, DiSi released his first professionally recorded single under Aj Records- the studio that is now regarded as one of the best in Guyana. The response to his first single captured the eyes and ears of many reputable artists; one of which is Award Winning International Recording Artiste Samuel Medas.

As he continued to hone his skills on the mic and with his pen, he began to perform at shows all across Guyana.

Now DiSi is on the verge of creating a new sound. A sound that blends elements of Hip-Hop, Soul, Dancehall and Reggae. He’s also very intentional on the accents he uses in his music; blending those accents found in mainstream music and injecting them with his infectious rhyme schemes and melodies.
