Displace

Displace is a saxophone-driven funk fusion ensemble based in Tampa, Florida known for their energetic performances, improvisational prowess, and wildly diverse sonic palette. The Floridian four-piece effectively utilizes their extensive training in a variety of musical backgrounds to produce a truly eclectic blend of infectious pop melodies, complex jazz progressions, and danceable indie-funk grooves.

2015's "Eureka" was the first album in a 4-EP concept discography with recurring thematic elements, expansive and immersive tonal colors, and an odyssey of genres that reflects the band’s collective evolution in musical exploration. [For fans of @Phish, @Lotus, and @Spafford ]

2016's sequel album "Undertow" continues the musical story in a more polished and produced format, with heavy use of overdubs creating a fully realized woodwind section and rich layers of keyboard, background vocal and percussion parts.
