DISTANT PKWY as an artist combines smooth and confident vocals, addictive melodies, introspective yet sometimes moodier lyrics to create #altpop/#indiepop /#bedroompop anthems. A great example of this is his lead single "Why Don't We?" Now on Spotify. He grew up in the metro Detroit area, where in school he first discovered a life long addiction to melody and song writing. DISTANT PKWY stated that he was inspired by the melodies of The Beatles, Nirvana, Oasis, Kanye West, Drake, The Weekend, Lil Wayne, & Big Sean. DISTANT PKWY plans to keep releasing original records, with the mission being to create songs for himself that he considers timeless, quality, and most of all feeling inducing.
