Distant Project is a synthpop band formed since 2006. It is currently made up of Fab Soutus (US), Wal Yunker and Clau Spiritelli (Argentina).
The project was born from a distance, hence its name. The technology allowed the members to compose individually and add the contributions of the rest of the musicians. The band's style combines electronica in fusion with pop, each member has a strong influence from artists such as Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Simple Minds, David Bowie and Soda Stereo, among others.
Since their first album “Venus” (2006), completely self-managed, the band's growth has been intense; albums, international tours, videos and collaborations with other artists.
In 2023, guitarist Clau Spiritelli joins the project to replace Nak Sorenson.
With this new line-up, work is underway on the next studio album for 2024 and a series of concerts and visual material to reconnect with fans everywhere.
