DJ A-Rod

DJ A-Rod was born in Los Angeles,CA. After his mother was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in front of him and his sister, his grandmother moved them to Mobile,AL and raised them both there. Going through those traumatic experiences changed A-Rod forever not knowing he will never have a regular life but god had a plan. He comes from a musical family. His grandmother and other relatives were singers and played instruments in the church. His family was heavily into the gospel music business and radio “on air talent”. A-Rod played instruments, and developed an ear for discovering talent. After moving to Savannah,GA he met radio vet DJ Mike Fresh which taught him how to DJ and gave him his first start on radio as a co-host and DJ when A-Rod was 16yr old. DJ A-Rod graduated from Savannah State Uni with an Associates of Arts & Bachelors of “Mass Communications” Degree . A-Rod is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. He’s worked with tons of independent and major artists while being a radio host and Mixshow DJ over the years and is currently working towards expanding his talents as one of the greatest A&R in the music business.
