Possessing a penchant for writing music that combines elements of EDM w world bass, downtempo, trap, soul, dub and glitch, in studio & on stage, Celeste creatively fuses together deep, sub bass programming w unique sampling, eclectic, unique drum loops & luscious sonic layering w various guest instrumentalists & vocalists in music that has been likened to; CloZee, Bonobo, Tycho, Desert Dwellers, Odesza, Imogene Heap, Chet Faker, Tipper, Pretty Lights, Zero7, Bjork, Etc.
Celeste is 90% deaf in her right ear from a car accident she endured at 16 & went on to study sound engineering regardless, helping advance the music of the deaf & hard of hearing community. She is particularly drawn to create music w sub-bass because she can only "feel" frequencies under 100hz in her right ear.
