DJ Deka performed from behind the decks for over a decade in front of enthusiastic club goers all across the United States and abroad. He was highly acclaimed by many promoters, peers and fans throughout the country as Boston’s best house music DJ and Producer. Always in demand for gigs throughout New England, Deka has held nearly a dozen residencies in his career, most notably his 4 year long monthly Saturday night residency at Underbar Boston and a 7 year quarterly residency at RISE Boston, which was voted 42nd best club in the world by DJ Mag in 2012.

DJ Deka headlined some of the biggest and most respected rooms in the country such as Avalon Boston, Avalon Hollywood, Roxy and Royale Boston, Pacha NYC, Webster Hall NYC, Cielo NYC, Mekka Miami, Jackson's in Tampa, Eden in Washington DC, Emerald City in Philadelphia, Luna LA & Therapy in Providence to name a few major US gigs on top of international gigs in Portugal and the Dominican Republic. With over 50 releases under his belt, Deka is signed with over 25 record labels worldwide and has had over a dozen original tracks and remixes spotted on the top 100 sales of Beatport. Deka has a national mix CD out on Nervous Records titled “Nervous Nitelife: DJ Deka” for sales in stores. He also has over 20 tracks appear on in-store global mix compilations, 1 re-license for a Bud Light TV commercial providing the soundtrack and he is signed with global household labels such as Ministry of Sound, Cr2, Stereo Productions, and more.
