DJ Dingle went by other pseudonym names such as L.J. Boogie, LJBoogie, DJ Oconus, and DJ Dingle Man before simplifying to DJ Dingle which originates from his government name, Leroy S. Dingle Jr.
DJing
As a young ThunderCat,(Young ThunderCats are defined as males in the age range of 13 - 24 [all that built up young energy]) he always wanted to DJ, but growing up in Moncks Corner, SC he didn't know any DJ's that could teach him.
In 2006 DJ Dingle started learning to DJ. His found a virtual mentor in DJ TLM. It wasn't until he started working overseas that he actually acquired his own DJ set. With his gravitating personality DJ Dingle was a natural!
Producing
Fear of scratching his dad's records, DJ Dingle started producing music. This old school style producing involved using a dual deck cassette player to record stop record stop record to make a music loop.
As technology changed DJ Dingle found an easier way to produce with computer software called Digital Audio Workstations. Some of his music early releases include “The Fight Night Project" (19 tracks), "Limitless", "Housetrix", "Boogie Goat Gruff", “Santa’s Electroh Party” and "Champions". Some of his most recent releases include "The Dingle: Rough Draft" (8 tracks) and "The Box Fire (10 tracks)". He also has a 4th Of July/proud to be an American single called "America Soul Beautiful" that had become popular.
