DJ Ella (Elīna Fūrmane) is a Latvian-born singer, DJ, and producer whose dynamic career began as early as age 14 when she reached the finals of the international “Fizz Superstar” competition. Her debut album, To Reach Your Dream, was released in 2006 after signing with MicRec, one of Latvia’s top labels .
In 2008, her breakthrough album Welcome to the Club launched her into the European electronic scene, earning hits across Scandinavia, Germany, France, and a spot on the French Club Chart Top 40 with the single “DJ Take Me” . Her innovative remixes and dance-pop sound won her multiple Latvian Music Recording Awards and an MTV Europe Music Awards nomination for Best Baltic Act .
After relocating to Los Angeles, she further honed her craft, producing music and even remixing the beloved Latvian classic “Dūdieviņš” with an energetic electronic twist and filming the video in California’s natural landscapes . In recent years, Ella has expressed thoughtful consideration about returning to Latvia while maintaining roots in both her homeland and LA
