Fricktion is an Award-winning DJ, Music Producer and Engineer. From teaching music in a prison to Winning ‘UK’s Best Mixtape DJ’, producing records for iconic Hip Hop MCs and performing at some of the world’s biggest venues, Fricktion is regarded as a veteran of the UK club scene.
Called the ‘Best DJ he’s heard’ by football legend Ronaldo and personally called upon by Neymar Jr and Usain Bolt to DJ for their private parties, Fricktion’s versatility and extensive knowledge of music across genres have made him a go-to for celebrity clients, entertaining for the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Leonardo Di Caprio and Jason Statham along with being the Official DJ for all Misfits/DAZN Boxing Events.
Citing Dr. Dre, Quincy Jones, A.R. Rahman & Timbaland as his biggest inspirations, Fricktion’s established status as a DJ has marked much of his recognition in the industry up until now, but has never let go of his true passion for music production having already worked with and produced songs for the likes of N.O.R.E, Styles P, Raekwon, RZA, Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kweli, Ghostface and UK based artists such as Alana Maria, Suspect, Sha Simone and Digga D.
In 2023, Fricktion promises consistent music releases as an artist starting with his upcoming single ‘Power’ with 2 x Grammy Nominated 'D Smoke' of LA (Rhythm N Flow - Netflix) along with critically acclaimed German rapper, 'Kelvyn Colt' and followed by projects with up coming latino prodigy Yxng Dave (currently signed to KSI’s label TOT)
