Originally from the Valenciennes region, Gregory Cousin, aka DJ GREG C, began his career in the clubs of northern France. He was the first artist to be signed to the Babaorum label, where he produced under various aliases, including Jenny D Light and G & F. His collaboration with the label continues to this day. DJ Greg C not only shaped the sound of the Lille-based label, he was also one of the key elements in the popularity of jumpstyle, paving the way and inspiring his peers, such as Lobotomy Inc and Binum. He has provided jumpstyle with a number of reference nuggets, such as Static Faction, Get Off, Color Sound, 10 Torsions, Speed Talking, and YOU... In the early 2000s, his reputation spread to the Netherlands and Germany, and he was asked to represent jumpstyle at a number of renowned festivals, including Tomorrowland, DÉCIBEL, Reverse, Sunrise Festival, Love Parade, Bassleader, The Qontinent, and Defqon1...
