Originally from Portland, Oregon hip-hop DJ and music producer DJ HMD emerged in the scene with a strong west coast sound and influence. Early in his career he started by DJ-ing for his friends and families house parties and events. Beginning of 2017 HMD decided to begin his career as a hip-hop DJ/producer . In 2018 he released his first single “False Moves” with Vallejo artist Nef the Pharaoh receiving the likes of Thizzler Magazine, Rap Direct & more and was trending #1 on Thizzler for the month of November. Ending the year in 2019 DJ HMD performed at a sold out show alongside Grammy-Nominated artist YBN Cordae at the Pressroom in Phoenix, AZ , as well as Sandbox Music Festival with Lil Nas X.
In 2020 DJ HMD released his biggest single to date “Shake That” with Project Pat. The single accumulated over 1 million streams. In 2021 he released “Need More” with 4Hunnid artist Mitch, DJ HMD is currently working on his debut album continuing the momentum from his latest single “Can't Pretend,” giving us a preview of what is yet to come from the DJ/Producer.
