Ntshembo Hope Maimele, known by his stage name DJ HopeStar, is a South African Music producer
Consistently ranked as one of the greatest producers from Limpopo.
DJ HopeStar has won a number of awards including Rap Type Magazine’s Awards for Best Single and Song of the year.
DJ HopeStar has featured a number of well established artists from Limpopo including Mizo Phyll, P-Postman (Percy Mukwevho son of Colbert Mukwevho), Mash Sarila, Shomadjozi and Dala FAM.
DJ HopeStar became established when he produced a single for Dala FAM titled ”Famba Na Khutso” that aired on radio (YFM) as a theme song for Khutso Theledi’s show (current theme song to date).
DJ HopeStar was one of the few artists selected to be on KFC Soundbite by Slikouronlife for a single titled “Ahi Fambi (Lets Go)” which features Dala FAM.
