Welcome to the DJ Jens Spotify page. DJ Jens started DJ’ing in 2004, mainly as an allround and party DJ in his hometown Vaals. Quickly bookings followed with Belle Perez, Jody Bernal, Nielson, Snollebollekes to name a few as support act. But his heart beats at a faster BPM and he followed his love for the harder styles, which led to bookings with Paul Elstak, Dune and Mental Theo at 90’s parties in club Fraiche.
After winning a DJ Contest, where he secured a spot during the DJ Potato 6 hours Solo event, with DJ Vince, Ricardo Moreno and others, he knew that this is what he wanted to pursue. Several bookings followed and soon interest was aroused in own productions. His 1st official release was 'Feel The Beat' (Gumballz Records) and followed by a collaboration with Bass-D (POW Records), where the hardcore classic 'In The Mix' got a 2021 freestyle remix. His tracks can count on huge support in the freestyle world, Darkraver, DJ Vince, Bass-D, Potato, Dustin Hertz & Clayton Cash, etc. ‘Feel The Beat’ was played at the Decibel Outdoor - Stay Loud livestream during ‘Pussy Lounge Madness’ by the Darkraver in 2020. DJ Jens has performed at renowned events including DJ Potato 6 Hours Solo, Gekkehâus, ZAK Carnival (DE), Pillar Festival, Club Leef, The Darknight, Nieuwe Nor Nacht and Outsiders & Friends.
DJ Jens plays a varied freestyle set, just like his productions, with influences from all harder styles: oldschool /early rave, jumpstyle, (early) hardstyle and (early) hardcore.
