DJ Kitsune

Within almost 20 years of his career in the music industry, DJ Kitsune has turned from a music lover to one the most influential djs in the european urban music scene. After starting out djing locally for clubs and artists in Frankfurt, Germany, he became famous for his outstanding dj skills and a great taste of music. In 1999, DJ Kitsune was named the new dj and co-host of the country's biggest rap-mixshow "Dope Beats" on the Frankfurt radio station XXL radio and began producing his first mixtape trilogy "Forces of Nature" that helped spreading his name on a nationwide level. His radio sets quickly turned into a residency on “Clubnight" on youfm, a mixshow format on national tv and the oldest and most legendary mixshow in Europe. In 2006 DJ Kitsune, was named the first german dj to join DJ Whoo Kid's (50 Cent / G Unit) Shadyville DJ coalition. Around the same time he played club shows all over Europe in top-level venues like the "Kaufleuten" in Zurich, the "Splash!" Festival in Germany, the "50 Grad" in Mainz, the "Unity" in Frankfurt, or in hot spots like New York City or Tel Aviv. Today, DJ Kitsune is one of Europe’s leading djs and musical tastemakers and CEO of his own management and publishing company. While one of Germany’s biggest daily newspapers “Sueddeutsche Zeitung” refers to DJ Kitsune as the “hardest working man in German hip hop”, he is considered to be one of the most skillfull, influential and well-rounded djs in Europe.
