A Journey of Beats, Roots, and Atmospheres
In the heart of Brazil, in the city of Goiânia, Lagoa was born, an artist whose sound carries the essence of the streets, the stage, and over a decade of musical evolution. His story begins in Hip Hop, producing cultural events and creating connections that led to the Gyn Rap Festival, a milestone for the local scene.
In 2013, he moved from event production to the turntables, joining the group Faroeste and stepping onto some of Brazil’s most important stages. Estúdio Showlivre, Rap Box, G1, and Rolling Stone Brasil were just a few of the spaces where his art reached new heights.
A defining moment came in 2016, when he performed at the Goiânia Noise Festival alongside Eric Bobo, percussionist for Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys, a historic collaboration that left its mark.
Since then, Lagoa has shared the stage with influential voices like Doncesão, Rapadura, and Mc Marechal, and opened shows for major acts such as Flora Matos, Haikaiss, Don L, MV Bill, Hungria, Tribo da Periferia and Charlie Brown Jr.
Today, after countless experiences and encounters, Lagoa has found in Lo-Fi a space to transform it all into art, beats that breathe texture, melody, and emotion. A sound that holds the memory of the past and the calm of the present.
