DJ Nika

Paris-based DJ Nika is an emblem of multicultural diversity in the urban music scene, bringing together his Nicaraguan roots from his mother’s side, where his DJ name “Nika” originates, as well as his French side from his father. His music encompasses an eclectic mix of Afro-Carribean sounds, African rhythms, and Latin vibes, all blended into a European music experience.

Nika started making music more than 20 years ago, and has been DJ-ing at clubs all around Europe for 15 years. His multicultural upbringing along with his many travels to the Americas, allowed him to integrate global musical influences in his music, playing reggaeton, Latin, and Afro-Cuban music at big clubs across Europe. Over the years, the artist has performed at some of the liveliest clubs in the world, including Mad Club in Lausanne, Carré in Brussels, <a href="spotify:playlist:3tNRYy6NYNGTSJ8wINiYS9" data-name="Pacha Barcelona">Pacha Barcelona</a>, along with performances across Switzerland and Nicaragua, to name a few.

In 2010, Nika was invited to join the LMP DJ collective by Lomaximo Productions Inc. and opened for Daddy Yankee&#39;s concert in Geneva later that year, adding to other big names in the music scene that DJ Nika has opened for such as <a href="spotify:artist:3ScY9CQxNLQei8Umvpx5g6" data-name="Fat Joe">Fat Joe</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0TnOYISbd1XYRBk9myaseg" data-name="Pitbull">Pitbull</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1SupJlEpv7RS2tPNRaHViT" data-name="Nicky Jam">Nicky Jam</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1i8SpTcr7yvPOmcqrbnVXY" data-name="Ozuna">Ozuna</a> and more. LMP awarded him as the Best Promoter DJ of the year in 2011 and Best International DJ in 2014.

The year 2018 saw the releases of his own productions, with two songs <a href="spotify:album:2P4CIdFKwI7r4FbQUq3rYg" data-name="Pela">Pela</a> and <a href="spotify:album:5phyFKZqRH6Ci7Isi7KYQL" data-name="Ataka">Ataka</a> both Latin Urban Dancehall hit singles, together garnering over 2 million views on YouTube.
