DJ Payne has his roots in rock & roll and deep south hip hop. A wide musical background in both listening and performance, paired with an exploration of dance music has resulted in DJ sets that span many cultures and moods. A heavy tour schedule across the southeast gave Payne plenty of opportunity to decide exactly what he wanted his music to contain in order to spark emotion as well as keep dance floors moving.
