DJ Portos

DJ Portos is a hardcore producer with deep roots in the scene, starting out in 1994 as Cybernater vs Cybermaniac. In the late ’90s and early 2000s, he released tracks on the legendary 5th Gear label under various aliases like Northern Terrorizers, Maniac M, Mr. X, and DJ Portos. He also performed live at underground parties around Groningen.

After a long break, DJ Portos returned to producing in 2018 with renewed energy. His 2021 comeback included a release on Digital Gabba Records, followed by six heavy EPs on Brutal Force Records, and several remixes for Rotjecore Records in 2021 and 2022.

In 2024, he dropped his first trance track on 1DB Records, in collaboration with BirdRBC, and released a brutal EP on Gabber Head in September. In 2025, one of the tracks from that release appeared on a Gabber Head compilation CD and vinyl edition.

He has also worked with artists like DJ Atomix and DJ AD on various hardcore collaborations — with more in the works.
