Born and raised in Los Angeles producer and beatmaker,DJ Primetime worked on hits for several rappers and singers as well as producing strong solo material of his own. His high-energy, party-minded sound and Sampling was infectious to the point that it started to act as the new template for the sound of West Coast hip-hop. Primetime continued growing with the changing times of Rap and R&B by sculpting beats for younger stars like Kalan.FrFr, 1TakeJay, Chris O’Bannon, BlueBucksClan, Rucci and Sad Baby. Primetime released well-received solo work July 29th 2022 titled “Da Function”. DJ Primetime got into music at the age of two playing the drums. DJ Primetime grew and would eventually DJ at local clubs and bars in the Los Angeles area. Primetime and rappers Vinny West and Famous Uno marked the beginning of Primetime Career releasing a single called “Tear It Up” in 2016. Inspired by the like of DJ Khaled, Mustard, Quincy Jones, Kanye and Pharrell Influenced by music legends such as Quincy Jones and DJ Quick, he prides himself on the use of live instruments and samples in his production stating that “energy never lies” Now, Primetime is ready to show audiences what he’s fully capable of, and has a project coming Next Summer titles “The Formula” that will set the tone for what audiences can expect next from him. Primetime ultimate goal is to chart on Billboard and to someday win a Grammy for his work.
