DJ Quimoso

DJ Quimoso started djing and making beats in Lisbon, Portugal in his basement and occasionally he would DJ in parties in Paris, France.
When he move to Thunder Bay, Canada where he was known as Jo, he became part of a group of pioneer DJs who made the first Hip Hop and R&B night at club Millennium. At this Hip Hop nights Jo (DJ Quimoso) would play Hip Hop beats for MCs to freestyle.
In 2000 he moved to Port Elizabeth, South Africa where he was known as DJ Santo, he also a pioneer of the Hip Hop movement in Port Elizabeth. He and his friends would organize Hip Hop shows where he would provide beats for MCs to freestyle. He had a radio show where he would allow MCs to freestyle and expose local talent.
Now he lives in the City of Maputo, Mozambique, and he makes R&B, Amampiano, House, and Dance songs in his spare time. When he is not making music he is working in IT.
