Dj Rey Simon

Starting at just ten years old, the back then not yet established Dj Rey Simon started playing the drums as a hobby. Soon it became his passion and he started practicing every day to perfect his craft. At some point it became too easy for him to play already written beats and he decided to produce them on his own. He started drumming in a band with friends to improve himself even more in 2009/10, which he then chose not to pursue anymore after about one year.

As the years went on, he discovered that mixing songs and producing beats digitally was the way to go for him. It did not take him long to figure out how to operate the turn tables and Logic Pro as he then produced his first EDM remix in 2016, with his first own song “Drop It” launching in 2018. Dj Rey Simon is often booked for parties of all kinds, but also clubs in the area noticed him early on and have been booking him frequently. One club, the “Le Passage” had been so impressed by his ability to get and keep a crowd going that they decided to make him the permanent DJ there for two years. The genre he feels enthusiastic about is house and currently, he is working on some new mixtapes and songs for you to enjoy.
